As geopolitical tensions intensify, high-net-worth individuals, international investors and family offices face an increasingly complex landscape of sanctions, cross-border investigations, asset freezes and politically motivated enforcement measures.
When a State deploys its legal and regulatory powers against an investor, where does legitimate enforcement end and political coercion begin? More importantly, what protections remain available?
Held during Dubai Arbitration Week 2026, this invitation-led event brings together leading practitioners in international arbitration, sanctions, INTERPOL matters and cross-border asset protection to examine the legal, strategic and practical challenges confronting internationally exposed individuals and businesses.
Through two expert-led panel discussions, we will explore how investors can navigate overlapping proceedings, protect their interests across jurisdictions and pursue remedies under international investment treaties.
